(FW:Confucious is an Korean?)

=================

I saw a few Chinese visiting my blog. This article devotes to these Chinese friends.
This is quoted from a column of Apple Daily on Oct 27:

Confucius is a Korean?

Chinese are mad that the Dragon Boat Festival was applied for the heritage of the world by Korean. Now, Korean theorized that "the Chinese characters are invented by ancient Korean". This aroused abuses on Chinese internet. Actually, the ancient Korea is nicknamed as " little Chinese", she is highly affected by the Confucianists, maybe more than China was.

A Harvard professsor, nicknamed 'Master of the new Confucianists', Dr. Tu Weiming quoted a recent investigation, which says " the city which most conforms with Confucianists' core value is
Soul. The last one is Shanghai." In fact, Korean also think that Confucious has closer relationshp with them more than with Chinese.

Confucious was born in Lu, a country in the Warring States era of ancient China. The so-called "China" was not existed then. The Peninsula Xandong, the Bohai Bay and the Korean Peninsula were close realted. Confucious once said ' If the way (Tao) cannot be carried out, then I'll take a boat on the sea.' That means if he did not succeed in Lu, he would try to go across Bohai Bay to Korea.

(To be continued..... this is not a professional translation. I do not take any responsibility for the errors. I'd just like to translate for Korean, maybe they'll be interested in this.)
